The score is 24-21, Colorado… about two minutes left in the game and the Aggies pinned back on their own 9-yard line. A string of quick plays get the Ags to the Buffs’ 35-yard line with less than a minute left to play and the Aggies looking very strong. Then it happens—Aggie QB Mark Farris is blindsided on a blitz and coughs up the ball, and a Colorado defender scoops up the fumble and runs it all the way back for a touchdown. Good night, game over, drive home safely. Texas A&M loses, 31-21.
The Aggies are now 5-1 (2-1 in the Big 12), with their brutal second half of the season continuing this weekend on the road against Kansas State.
