Last night, restaurants across the United States took part in Dine Out For America, a fund raising effort to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, in which the participating locations donated 100 percent of their profits for the day to the relief fund. And it was really pretty heartening to see how well it was supported around here—every place we saw on the way home from work appeared to be full, with people waiting in the parking lots to get in.
We did our small part, partaking of some chicken crispers and fajita quesadillas at the Chili’s in Stonebriar Centre here in Frisco (that’s Frisco, Texas, not “Frisco”, California). Yummy.
Like I said, pretty cool.
