So I’m getting some breakfast at the cafeteria here at work this morning, and I’m splashing copious amounts of Tabasco sauce on my eggs (well, Egg Beaters… say hello to my high cholesterol)—and as soon as I catch a whiff of the red stuff, my mouth literally starts watering. I mean, just full-on drooling. And as I sit back and think about it, Tabasco sauce is and always has been the only thing that can make me do that. I love all sorts of food, and I love the smells of all sorts of food, but nothing—not even Mom’s most excellent home-cooked Korean fare—can do what the scent of Tabasco does to me.
